Supabase Auth processes the email address, password credential, authentication identifiers, confirmation state, account-creation time, and session information required to create and protect an account. Every new community account begins with a pending moderation status. Profile data may include username, display name, avatar URL, biography, contribution totals, followers, following, moderation status, review timestamps, and the administrator who performed a review. Private profile settings may include a contact email and email-marketing choice.

Changes to a username, display name, biography, or avatar are stored as a private profile-change request before they become public. The request can include the proposed fields, submission time, moderation status, review time, reviewer identifier, and an internal moderation note. While an approved member's change is pending, the previously approved public profile remains visible. Private contact-email and email-consent changes are not public identity changes and may be saved immediately.

The service stores posts, post replies, story comments, product reviews, product-review replies, likes, favorites, follow relationships, reports, bug reports, moderation status, and administrative audit records. New public contributions are held in a private approval queue and are not shown publicly until approved. An author's own queued material may remain visible to that author through account controls. Report details, private contact fields, profile-change requests, internal moderator notes, and audit records are restricted to authorized access.

A human administrator reviews new accounts, proposed public profile identities, and public contributions before approval. While an account is pending, its profile remains private and it cannot post, comment, review, reply, follow, or save public favorites. A signed-in pending account may love or remove a love from an existing public community post; that reversible interaction stores the account identifier, post identifier, and timestamp but does not publish the pending profile. Rejected, hidden, or blocked accounts cannot use Love. Editing previously approved content returns the edited version to moderation. Approval is a community-safety and platform-integrity decision; it is not identity verification, professional certification, or a guarantee that every risk will be detected.

When the same profile, post, comment, review, or review reply receives reports from three distinct accounts that are themselves approved and unblocked, the database automatically changes the reported target to a hidden state. If the target is a profile, its existing public posts, comments, reviews, and review replies are hidden in the same safety action. Anonymous, pending, rejected, hidden, or blocked accounts do not count toward this threshold. The action is precautionary and reviewable by an administrator; it is not a final finding that the reported material is unlawful and is not intended to produce legal or similarly significant effects concerning the affected person.

Moderation records may contain the relevant rule, status, report information, and internal administrator notes. The interface explains the general reason that a new account or contribution is pending. A user who believes a restriction or rejection is incorrect may contact the website through the public legal contact details and identify the account or content concerned so the decision can be reviewed. Security and privacy limits may prevent disclosure of reporter identities, internal abuse-detection details, or information about another person.

For the first seven days after account creation, the database checks contribution text for common external-link patterns and rejects submissions containing them. This safety rule reduces spam and malicious-link risk. The check evaluates the submitted text and account-creation time; it does not inspect unrelated browsing activity or the contents of an external destination.

Account applications, requested profile changes, and community features are processed to provide the service and manage the user relationship. Security, fraud prevention, child-safety protection, moderation, platform integrity, report handling, necessary technical reliability diagnostics, aggregate product popularity totals, and limited operational records are processed to operate, secure, diagnose, and repair the website. Optional Supabase analytics and Google Analytics 4 are activated only after consent. Depending on the activity, the relevant basis may include performance of a requested service, legitimate interests in operating and securing the platform, compliance with legal obligations, or consent under applicable data-protection and device-storage rules.

Supabase authentication cookies and related browser storage keep sign-in, account security, and session refresh working. The site also stores the cookie-preference decision so it can remember whether optional analytics was accepted or rejected. The reliability diagnostic guard may use sessionStorage only to maintain a short-lived per-browser error-report budget so a broken page cannot flood the diagnostic service. This budget is not used to recognize a visitor across browser sessions or for advertising. These items are used only to provide requested functions, remember the privacy choice, or protect reliable operation.

Unexpected technical failures may be recorded in a private diagnostic ledger so the website can be secured, repaired, and kept reliable even when optional analytics is declined. Depending on the failure, a diagnostic may include the page pathname without query parameters, technical error type and message, a bounded stack trace or framework digest, request method and route context, the pathname of a failed image/script/stylesheet/media resource, deployment or release identifier, first and last occurrence timestamps, severity, and an aggregated occurrence count. The recorder is designed to remove query strings from routes and resource URLs and redact common authorization tokens, API keys, secrets, passwords, email addresses, JSON Web Tokens, and sensitive query values before storage. It does not intentionally store form contents, request headers, cookies, raw authorization credentials, browser IP addresses in the diagnostic table, advertising identifiers, or a persistent browser fingerprint. Browser diagnostic submissions are rate-limited per browser session and repeated failures are deduplicated by technical fingerprint. The diagnostic table is private to server-side administrative access and is separate from optional audience analytics.

Supabase analytics remains disabled until the visitor selects Accept optional analytics. When enabled, the website creates a random session identifier in sessionStorage and sends events such as page path, event type, related public content identifier, and referrer hostname to the site's Supabase database. The implementation does not intentionally store raw IP addresses, advertising identifiers, or persistent cross-site device fingerprints. Administrators and moderators are excluded, including while they browse public pages. Rejecting analytics does not block the website and does not disable the separate necessary reliability diagnostics described above.

Google Analytics 4 is loaded only after the visitor accepts optional analytics and only on the production website. Before consent, the Google tag is not requested and no Analytics data is sent to Google. After consent, Google Analytics may use cookies such as _ga and _ga_<container-id> and process page URLs, page titles, referrer information, browser and device information, approximate location derived from technical request information, and interaction data such as page views, scrolling, outbound clicks, and site searches. Google Signals, advertising personalization, ad storage, ad user data, and ad personalization remain disabled. The website checks the signed-in role before loading Google Analytics, excludes administrators and moderators, and never loads it on /admin routes. Google processes Analytics information under its own terms and privacy documentation, and processing may occur outside the visitor's country subject to applicable safeguards.

Visitors can reject optional analytics when first asked or reopen Cookie settings from the website to change the choice later. Withdrawing a previously granted choice disables Google Analytics, removes accessible Google Analytics cookies for this domain, reloads the page so the Google tag is no longer active, and stops future optional Supabase analytics events. Withdrawal does not affect processing that occurred lawfully before the choice was changed and does not disable necessary authentication, security, moderation, or reliability diagnostics.

Opening a published product detail page increases that product's public view total once for that page mount, including when the page is opened by an administrator or moderator. Each open uses a fresh one-time random identifier so repeated opens can be counted without linking them into a browsing session. The product counter stores the public product identifier, canonical product path, event type, and anonymous counter mode. It deliberately stores no website account identifier, referrer hostname, raw IP address, advertising identifier, or persistent browser identifier in the site's database. This aggregate counter operates separately from optional analytics and is used only to display truthful product popularity totals.

The Facebook and Instagram Watch pages can retrieve public content from the official Life of Christian social accounts through Meta's server-side APIs. Depending on the platform and fields made available by Meta, this can include captions, dates, thumbnails, media types, public permalinks, profile metadata, and aggregate reaction, like, or comment counts. Page access tokens and Instagram professional-account identifiers are stored only in the server environment and are not exposed to visitors. Interactive Facebook and Instagram posts are not loaded automatically. When a visitor presses a load button, the browser connects directly to Meta, which may receive technical request information, set or read cookies, and process activity under its own privacy terms. Opening a Facebook or Instagram link transfers the visitor to Meta's service.

The YouTube Watch page can retrieve public channel and video information from the official Life of Christian channel through the server-side YouTube Data API v3. This can include the channel title, description, picture, public subscriber and video totals, upload playlist, video titles, descriptions, dates, thumbnails, durations, public status, view counts, like counts, and comment counts. The Google API key and channel identifier are stored in the server environment and are not exposed to visitors. YouTube players are not loaded automatically. When a visitor presses a load button, the browser connects to Google's privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie.com player, and Google may receive technical request information and process cookies, similar storage, playback activity, account activity, or watch history under its own privacy notice and terms. Opening a YouTube link transfers the visitor to Google's service.

The current Meta integrations do not provide Facebook or Instagram Login for ordinary website visitors and do not intentionally store personal Meta profile data from those visitors. Instructions for removing the Meta application connection and requesting deletion of any associated information are available on the dedicated Meta Data Deletion page.

Vercel hosts and delivers the Next.js website and may maintain infrastructure/runtime logs used for availability, security, and failures that cannot be stored when the application database itself is unavailable. Supabase provides the hosted PostgreSQL database, authentication, moderation queues, security rules, private reliability diagnostic ledger, and first-party analytics storage. Google provides Google Analytics 4 after consent. These providers may process technical request information, logs, account data, analytics information, moderation information, and database content as processors or independent providers under their own contractual and security arrangements. Their infrastructure may involve processing outside the visitor's country, subject to the safeguards described by the respective provider.

The optional support button opens Buy Me a Coffee in a new tab. The website does not receive card numbers or complete payment credentials. Once the visitor follows the link, the external provider may process account, payment, device, cookie, tax, and transaction information under its own privacy notice and terms. Product, social-media, retailer, and other external links work in the same way: the destination controls its own processing after the visitor leaves this website.

Account applications, approved profiles, and private profile settings are kept while the account remains active and are deleted or anonymized when the available deletion process is completed, subject to lawful backup, security, dispute, and record-keeping needs. Pending or rejected profile-change requests and queued contributions may be retained for a reasonable moderation, security, or dispute-handling period. Public content remains until the author deletes it or moderation removes it. Reports, moderation decisions, audit records, security information, optional Supabase analytics, Google Analytics information, and anonymous aggregate product-counter events are retained according to their configured retention periods and only for as long as reasonably necessary for their purpose, legal obligations, or dispute handling. Reliability diagnostic incidents are aggregated by technical fingerprint rather than stored as an unlimited row for every occurrence; resolved diagnostic history is periodically pruned, including resolved incidents older than roughly 45 days, while unresolved incidents may remain until they are investigated and resolved.

Users can submit profile corrections for review, remove favorites, edit or delete their own contributions, withdraw optional email consent, change the cookie choice, and use the account-deletion control. A user may also request human review of an account or content moderation decision through the public contact details. Depending on applicable law, individuals may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection, and may withdraw consent for future processing. A complaint may be submitted to the competent data-protection supervisory authority.

Account creation and community participation are intended for adults aged 18 or older. Visitors must not submit a child's private contact details, precise location, medical information, school information, schedule, legal documents, or other sensitive personal data in posts, comments, reviews, reports, or profile fields. The website does not provide private or direct messaging between members.
