Supabase Auth processes the email address, password credential, authentication identifiers, confirmation state, and session information required to create and protect an account. Public profile data may include username, display name, avatar URL, biography, contribution totals, followers, and following. Private profile settings may include a contact email and email-marketing choice.

The service stores posts, replies, story comments, product reviews, likes, favorites, follow relationships, reports, bug reports, moderation status, and administrative audit records. Public contributions are visible to other visitors and may be indexed by search engines. Report details, private contact fields, and internal moderation notes are restricted to authorized access.

Account and requested community features are processed to provide the service and manage the user relationship. Security, fraud prevention, moderation, platform integrity, and limited operational records are processed to protect users and the website. Optional first-party analytics is processed only after consent. Depending on the activity, the relevant basis may include performance of a requested service, legitimate interests in operating and securing the platform, compliance with legal obligations, or consent under applicable data-protection and device-storage rules.

Supabase authentication cookies and related browser storage keep sign-in, account security, and session refresh working. The site also stores the cookie-preference decision so it can remember whether optional analytics was accepted or rejected. These items are used only to provide functions requested by the visitor or to remember the privacy choice.

Analytics remains disabled until the visitor selects Accept optional analytics. When enabled, the website creates a random session identifier in sessionStorage and sends events such as page path, event type, related public content identifier, and referrer hostname to the site's Supabase database. The implementation does not intentionally store raw IP addresses, advertising identifiers, or persistent cross-site device fingerprints. Rejecting analytics does not block the website.

Vercel hosts and delivers the Next.js website. Supabase provides the hosted PostgreSQL database, authentication, and related APIs. These providers may process technical request information, logs, account data, and database content as processors or independent providers under their own contractual and security arrangements. Their infrastructure may involve processing outside the visitor's country, subject to the safeguards described by the respective provider.

The optional support button opens Buy Me a Coffee in a new tab. The website does not receive card numbers or complete payment credentials. Once the visitor follows the link, the external provider may process account, payment, device, cookie, tax, and transaction information under its own privacy notice and terms. Product, social-media, retailer, and other external links work in the same way: the destination controls its own processing after the visitor leaves this website.

Account and profile information is kept while the account remains active and is deleted or anonymized when the available deletion process is completed, subject to lawful backup, security, dispute, and record-keeping needs. Public content remains until the author deletes it or moderation removes it. Reports, audit records, and security information are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose, legal obligations, or the handling of disputes. Analytics should be reviewed and deleted periodically when no longer needed.

Users can update profile fields, remove favorites, edit or delete their own posts, withdraw optional email consent, change the cookie choice, and use the account-deletion control. Depending on applicable law, individuals may also request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection, and may withdraw consent for future processing. A complaint may be submitted to the competent data-protection supervisory authority.

Account creation and community participation are intended for adults aged 18 or older. Visitors should not submit a child's private contact details, precise location, medical information, school information, or other sensitive personal data in posts, comments, reviews, reports, or profile fields.
