We use the Maxi-Cosi Cassia every day, and it has become one of the most practical baby products in our home. Christian enjoys sitting in it while he is awake, watching us, holding his comforter or a small toy, and observing everything happening around him. As he grows, we notice new abilities during his time in the swing. He follows movement more closely, reaches for objects, holds and explores his toys, brings his hands together, and stays interested in his surroundings for longer. It gives him a comfortable place to relax and play while still remaining close to us. The 360° rotation is one of our favorite features because we can easily turn Christian toward us without moving the entire swing. The five swing speeds are useful because some moments call for very gentle movement, while at other times he enjoys a little more motion. The two recline positions also make it easier to find a comfortable position for him. From a parent’s perspective, the Cassia is lightweight, easy to move between rooms, simple to operate, and attractive enough to fit naturally into our home. The melodies and sounds provide extra variety, and the removable washable fabrics are especially helpful with a baby. Every baby has different preferences, but for our family this has been a very useful everyday product. Christian is comfortable in it, enjoys observing and playing from the seat, and continues to discover new ways to interact with his toys and surroundings.
